Teacher Appreciation Week
Hello Arnold Families!
Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 is almost here, and this year we’re taking our teachers on a Road Trip to show them just how much we appreciate everything they do!
To fuel this journey, we will be asking for a lot of help. We know it's a lot to ask but we want to spoil our teachers for all the ways they help our students succeed throughout the year. We’ll be collecting Amazon donations, SignUp Genius items, volunteer help, and monetary contributions. All of your contributions and student participation is 100% voluntary but appreciated!!
Room parents will be sending out more details soon, including ways you can jump in and help make the week unforgettable.
Please make sure all donations arrive at the school by Monday, May 4th.
Here is a glimpse into our Road Trip Week
May 4-8
Monday 5/4: Fuel and Spare Tires (Coffee and Donuts in the lounge for Teachers
Students write a postcard to a teacher: a reason they make them smile. (blank Post Cards will be handed out in class the week prior)
Tuesday 5/5: Rest Stop! Teachers will enjoy a Chevys lunch and we will be asking for volunteers to help cover recess duty.
Wednesday 5/6: Road Trip Snacks: Trail Mix Bar in the lounge
Students bring in teacher’s “Favorite Things”
Thursday 5/7: Go the Extra Mile- Gift Cards in Teacher's Mailboxes
Students: Be prepared! students bring a supply for their classroom
Friday 5/8: Next Stop: Success- Teacher's will find a thank you gift in their mailboxes.
